eOriginal Chairman
By a WALL STREET JOURNAL Staff Reporter BALTIMORE -- Michael H. Jordan, the former chairman and chief executive of CBS Corp., said he will become the chairman of eOriginal Inc.
(www.eoriginal.com), an e-commerce start-up that creates contracts on the Web.
Mr. Jordan, 63 years old, is the latest old-guard media executive to link up with an Internet company. Financial-news honcho Lou Dobbs recently announced he was leaving Time Warner Inc.'s Cable
News Network to head Space.com, a fledgling company. Mr. Jordan has his hand in a number of different Internet ventures. "I'm a believer in what the Internet can do in terms of
revolutionizing technology and business today," he said. In his newest role, Mr. Jordan will help eOriginal drum up business for its technology.
The closely held eOriginal has developed a patented technology to create secure and encrypted electronic documents that can be delivered via the Internet. The
company, which has yet to launch a product, hopes to enable the electronic delivery of legal documents such as mortgages and car leases. Go to: Next article,
